A newly unsealed federal indictment charges Sean Combs - also known as Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Diddy, PD, and “Love” - with orchestrating a vast criminal enterprise built on abuse, coercion, and exploitation.

Federal prosecutors allege that for more than 15 years, Combs used his sprawling business empire, including Bad Boy Entertainment and Combs Enterprises, as a front to carry out a range of crimes including sex trafficking, kidnapping, arson, bribery, obstruction of justice, and forced labor.

“The defendant abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct,” the indictment states.

The charging document details a systematic operation in which employees, security staff, and close associates allegedly enabled and facilitated Combs’ behavior - using threats, narcotics, violence, and money to silence or control victims.

💼 The Combs Enterprise

According to prosecutors, the so-called “Combs Enterprise” functioned as a tightly controlled organization with a singular purpose: to preserve the power, wealth, and secrecy of Sean Combs.

The indictment describes coordinated efforts involving:

  • The recruitment and coercion of women under false pretenses

  • Use of controlled substances to weaken resistance

  • A network of staff that booked hotels, stocked narcotics, and facilitated what were termed “Freak Offs” - orchestrated group sex events with commercial sex workers

  • Attempts to hide the physical and emotional injuries inflicted on victims

In one instance, law enforcement recovered over 1,000 bottles of lubricant and baby oil during raids on Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami, as well as firearms including defaced AR-15s.

“COMBS wielded the power and prestige of his role at the Combs Business to intimidate, threaten, and lure female victims into his orbit.”

🔥 Violence, Coercion, and Intimidation

The indictment alleges that Combs engaged in repeated physical assaults - punching, dragging, kicking, and threatening women, employees, and witnesses.

Victims were reportedly tracked, isolated, and manipulated with the threat of ruined careers or financial abandonment. Combs is accused of filming sexual encounters and using the footage to ensure silence.

“Victims believed they could not refuse COMBS’ demands without risking their financial or job security.”

The enterprise allegedly used intimidation and bribery to prevent victims from speaking to law enforcement. Witness tampering, illegal recordings, and controlled substance distribution are cited throughout the charging documents.

🚨 Racketeering and Sex Trafficking Charges

The indictment includes three criminal counts:

  1. Racketeering Conspiracy (RICO) - Involving kidnapping, arson, bribery, forced labor, sex trafficking, and narcotics distribution

  2. Sex Trafficking by Force, Fraud, or Coercion - Specifically naming one victim between 2009 and 2018

  3. Transportation to Engage in Prostitution - Alleging movement of commercial sex workers across state and international borders from 2009 through 2024

Each count carries significant penalties and includes broad forfeiture provisions seeking all assets traceable to criminal proceeds - including properties, cash, and business holdings.

📎 Forfeiture and Substitute Assets

The government is seeking seizure of assets directly tied to the crimes, but has included substitute asset provisions. This means if the original proceeds are hidden, transferred, or otherwise inaccessible, the government can seek any equivalent value assets Combs controls.
